I've been so very fortunate this time around to not suffer as much as I did last time, but I'm usually pretty green after every meal. Even if I only eat baby-sized portions! I can't get enough of fresh-squeezed, cold juice and quinoa tabbouleh with lots and lots of lemon. Other than that I have pretty much no appetite to speak of.
Doesn't stop me having to figure out what to feed the rest of my brood, however! This is what I've come up with for this week. I'll be the one on the couch, moaning.
♥ roasted eggplant and sundried tomato fettuccine ♥
♥ crispy strips, honey-soy sesame veggie saute ♥
♥ tacos ♥
♥ baked sweet potato salad with pecans ♥
♥ grilled balsamic mushrooms with baked potatoes and salad ♥
♥♥♥
♥ banana-honey cake ♥
♥♥♥
♥ veggie congee ♥
♥ 7-grain organic waffles ♥
Enjoy!
Yet again you've given me some great meal ideas. I'm hating most forms of meat with this pregnancy, so I've been using your blog for lots of ideas. Those mushrooms with baked potato will be in my stomach by the end of the week. xx
ReplyDeleteIf I don't hurl before then, they'll be in my stomach by tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteI made a banana honey cake on the weekend that was to die for - and as it happens, I made it for one of my friends who is in her first trimester too!!
ReplyDeleteI will do it sometime next week! I was pleasantly surprised, I quite liked it. Not usually a fan of tomatoey sauces, but they're so good for you!
ReplyDeleteAll the cool kids are doing it! I wanted to put in pecans, but remembered at the last minute the baby isn't supposed to eat nuts :-/
