Veggie meal plan

I am back from the fun and frivolity of the conference. Lots of awesome people to see and even more awesome people to meet. I love seeing everyone let loose and have a good time!

There also may or may not have been an incident that involved me and a Vanilla Ice song.

I also got to meet Captain Craft Crush Pip from Meet Me at Mikes. She told me I was cute. I died on the spot.

Meanwhile at home, I'm tired and really, really avoiding the supermarket. And seeing that we're all on holidays here for the school break, there's going to be lots of going to the beach and the park, laying around singing Yo Gabba Gabba! songs and not too much time in the kitchen. I love these moments.

If you have simple, fast dinners you eat when in times like this, then feel free to enlighten me! I love hearing what others eat :)

  1. I think you are cute too :-) I used to do a series called No Time To Cook a few years ago .. you might like these http://www.cookrepublic.com/recipe-archive/5-quick-healthy-meal-ideas-in-under-10-minutes/ :-) Nowadays, I find a pesto pasta or green pea curry the easiest to whip up.

  2. Oh this is so handy! Thanks Sneh! Pesto pasta is a winner, my garden is overflowing with basil at the moment xx

  3.  I could really go all of those options. I love myself a good pesto as well, but get deeply offended when people put rocket into it.

  4. Vege nachos are always a hit.
Miso soup w tofu and veges.
    Rice paper rolls.
Eggs anyway - our #1 fallback fav.
Noodles or rice w tamari and then whatever takes our fancy.

PS I often have cooked rice and quinoa frozen in zippe bags - make a huge batch then throw into the freezer - is so easy if you want food fast!
