Inside my fridge

What's in yours?

  1. Ha, ha, ha.  You've totally brightened up my evening!  Well I'd love to reveal but my kitchen is currently being tarted up and my fridge (apart from being 20 miles away as I'm at my in laws right now) will be both new (yay) and completely empty (boo).  I am completely ripping off your fabulous idea though after I've had my fridge for a few weeks.  (Let's face it, if I did it on my first shop there would be far less wine and cake than there would be if I left it a few weeks...)

  2. Gee if I took a pic today (shopping day tomorrow) I think you would be asking if we live on fresh air and scraps.

  3. You think you have bad storage methods? My fridge is horrid at the moment, but I am planning on do our menu plan today so it will get a clean out and get organised (along with the pantry)

I am kind of jealous of your gourmet garden stash!

  5. Hahahaha thanks for sharing now I don't feel like I just have bad housekeeping skills and in fact other people's fridges may look a little like mines.  I only have the top two shelves and they are crammed to the max, hubby has claimed the bottom shelve for beer and drinks and well sometimes I just have to put stuff on the shelf and you should hear the carry on then, but he doesn't even need that much space its just a real estate war!.  My door shelves are deeper than yours so I have lots of opened double-ups. I try to be organised but for some reason always seem to loose stuff or only find it after the use by date and as for the veggie crispers I just don't know how to organise these so you don't end up throwing out stuff that has gone mouldy and spongy and well just gross and sometimes the crispers freeze the veggies and totally ruin them and I think keeping stuff in the plastic bags doesn't help with the organisation either.

  6. Now we eat mostly organic, I really make an effort to store it well and use it up, because it is more expensive. I go nuts if the kids waste it!!!! Sonia x

  7. My crisper sends my fruit and (mostly) veg gross, as well! I thought it was just my fridge..

  8. I can look past the 'disorganisation' (if you can call it that). Your fridge is impeccably clean unlike mine. It's been on my 'to do' list for I don't know how long. I'd love those wine holders in my fridge. Congrats on the Gourmet Garden gig.

  9. Haha I took this photo after I cleaned the fridge. For the first time in about eight months. Figured now was a good time to do this post! It isn't terribly disorganised, but it's certainly devoid of appropriate storage containers!

  13. This cracked me up! I can just imagine what would happen if you encroached on his beer space. And what you can't see is that my shelves are very deep too and there's another whole row of curry paste, pesto, eye drops and assorted god-knows-what at the back! And yes, I hate the freezing veg thing. Stupid fridge!

  15. If I had taken the pic before I cleaned the fridge, you'd be asking if I lived on mould and empty tin cans.

  25. Look what happens when you get the 11 yr old to put away the shopping ....  followgram.me/i/175430942564664270_4922927

Love the loo cleaner alongside the gf flour!  A nice touch - took me ages to work out where everything was as this is out in the extra fridge in the garage - !!!

Ohh - and  something to look froward to - don't worry about the walker threats - wait till she's 11 and her thing is throwing heaps of dish wash detergent on the trampoline getting the hose out and rocking her socks till all the soapsuds disappear - huge fun - and probably on the Choices list of banned leisure activities!!!!!!   Those people do not know how to live life in the fast lane!!!!!

And thank you Aldi for making the best ever soapsuds at the cheapest price - we love you!!!!!
